Enable Old Start Menu In Window 8 Developer

Many of you might not like the new Start Screen in Windows 8 or find it uncomfortable to browse tiles with Keyboard or Mouse. This simple trick helps you to revert to old Start Menu as in Windows 7. Here are the steps :


  1. Press Windows Key + R
  2. Type regedit
  3. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
  4. Double-click RPEnabled
  5. Change its value from 1 to 0
